Terms and Conditions

As an industry participant registering as a buyer or supplier providing your details to ICN's business matching database you agree to the following terms and conditions:

You acknowledge that you have read and agree to ICN's privacy policy. (NB hot link to page which must be read before proceeding).

To use ICN's business matching service you must carefully complete the information required in the format provided.

You are deemed to have authorised ICN and its consultants to release all the information that you have provided to ICN for the purposes of ICN business matching you to other industry participants whom ICN or its consultants may asses to be a business matching opportunity.

You agree that ICN has a complete discretion to whom amongst other industry participants registered with ICN your information is provided and in identifying possible business matching opportunities.

You must ensure when completing your information that you do so in accordance with the instructions. You must ensure that the information which you supply is information that you intend to be made available to other industry participants for the purpose of business matching. Do not supply information that you intend to be confidential. ICN will not be responsible for releasing confidential information that you inadvertently supply for the purposes of business matching.

By registering your details with ICN and providing information in the format provided you will be deemed to have discharged and released ICN from all liability which may arise from providing that information to other industry participants during the process of business matching and from any liability for the storage of that information, including liability with respect to acts or omissions of other agencies involved in the business matching process.

You also will be deemed indemnify ICN and its consultants on a continuing bases from any loss or liability to any third party for any claims, actions, demands as a result of that third party relying upon information you supply and ICN provides that turns out to be false, misleading or deceptive or that causes the third party to suffer loss or damage.

Note that you will be assuming all risks associated with the use of ICN's website for registering your details and information and any associated databases including the risks to your computer, software or data being damaged by any virus which might be transmitted, downloaded or activated by ICN's website and/or the relevant database its contents and your access to ICN's database.

ICN notes that there are inherent risks with the transmission of information via the internet. If you have any concerns regarding the transmission of information via the internet, ICN can receive information via mail, facsimile or telephone.

Any industry participant may modify or remove its details from this database at any time upon request to ICN. ICN will not be liable to any person if the information provided is not up to date at the time it has been provided because the database has not been up-dated.

Each industry participant relying upon information provided by another industry participant via ICN through the business matching process must make its own enquiries and form its own assessment whether the industry participant introduced by ICN has or provides the goods or services or has the requisite experience or capabilities for the purposes and is of good financial standing.

ICN will endeavour to keep all information that it receives from industry participants secure. Any business or personal information ICN receives will only be used for the purpose of business matching and in accordance with the terms on which it is provided unless the law requires or permits otherwise or permission is granted.

ICN does not accept any responsibility for checking the, truth, accuracy or completeness of any information provided by any industry participant for the purposes of business matching. ICN does not warrant any information provided for business matching purpose and will not be liable to any person for any acts or omissions by an industry participant in providing or relying upon incomplete, misleading or deceptive information or for any damages, claim, compensation, remuneration or amount payable as a consequence of information being incomplete, misleading or deceptive.

That means:

• Each industry participant providing information must ensure that the information it provides to ICN is reliable, accurate, current and complete and is not misleading or deceptive.

• Each industry participant relying upon information provided by any other industry participant or by ICN on behalf of an industry participant must ensure that the information provided is reliable, accurate, current and complete and is not misleading or deceptive.

If ICN becomes aware that any information any industry participant has provided is unreliable, misleading, deceptive, inaccurate or not current or ICN is concerned for any reason that this may be so, ICN may remove the information from ICN's database.

Please note that ICN's business matching service is not intended for and cannot be used by industry participants for the purpose of fundraising.
